Young man in hot waters after the sister of his victim in an alleged mobile phone scam lured him into visiting her with the promise of a romantic moment.
According to the young lady who executed the entire ploy, the accused individual made away with her sisterโs phone, GHยข1600 in cash and GHยข5000 in mobile money.

Five (5) suspects, including a pregnant woman, appeared before the Asokwa Circuit Court on Wednesday in connection with the killings and robberies of two mobile money vendors at Krofrom and Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region.
The pregnant suspect is alleged to have acted as an informant for a criminal gang. According to sources, she befriended the victims at the two separate locations and later passed on information that enabled the gang to execute the robberies, which resulted in the deaths of the vendors and the theft of substantial sums of money.
During the court proceedings, the woman reportedly appealed for bail, citing her condition in custody and her pregnancy. However, the court denied bail for all five suspects.
The case has been adjourned to May 21, 2025.
