I don't know how many care workers follow me, but to any that do can I say thank you. Whether you were born in the UK or recruited from abroad, the important work you do is appreciated by millions of people across the country. Politicians shouldn't be afraid to say that.
Communication issues are one of the leading causes of error in healthcare
Sometimes there is ambiguity between the โsenderโ & receiver of instructions
There are lots of ways of reducing communication errors but our advice is to always STOP & not proceed if you have any doubt
