Lying to HS athletes about their PR’s isn’t a confidence booster.

When you know the wind was a mini hurricane and/or you have a questionable timing system, it only sets athletes up for a bigger emotional let down when they can’t replicate, or better, that huge performance.

Me personally I’m not the athlete that’s gonna “ask” for a full ride UNLESS IK I would be the 🔑 factor for building the team. Ifl coaches should realize that most HS athletes (like me) don’t have professional coaching, and most of the work is done by ourselves…but what do ik 🤷🏾‍♂️
