The Crucible is a good title because throughout the play many people are given the choice to do good or bad and their faith is tested. #CrucibleSevereTest

The accusations of Proctor will make Abigail nervous and upset. She is getting nervous because she is afraid the girls will accuse her. She is upset because she loves John and doesn’t want him to die. Mary accused him becuse she didnt want to be in trouble. #maryaccusesproctor

The symbolic meaning of Mary Warren’s statement is that it there is not an actual devil in Salem, just the people that are accused of witchcraft. #DevilInSalem

One of the main grudges in The Crucible, is Abigails jealousy of John Proctor’s wife. John had cheated on his wife and Abigail wants to be with him. John feels bad for cheating on his wife and wants Abigail to stop trying to get John. #CrucibleGrudges
