@samburnettasu I agree!! Assessments can be as easy as holding up fingers to show how comfortable the students are with the information! There are so many ways to incorporate assessment throughout the day!

2 take away from this week:
1. Assessments can happen at anytime during class. It can be something as basic as a discussion
2. Classroom assessment tells teachers how well the students are processing what is being taught and their are so many ideas to incorporate this #ci3400108

@smithdmappstate I agree with this. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what went wrong if it is not explicitly explained. As future teachers we need to help all students become successful

@living_proof3 I talked about what’s on assessments as well. I feel like we have all struggled with test and have had surprise questions pop up on test.

It’s an interesting thought that teachers who give students assessments without teaching the content of tests lose the students trust and cause students to guess on tests more. It’s also important to change the idea of “teaching to the test” to “testing what you teach” #ci3400108
