These are some of the highest ranks in our security agencies. Just imagine.
You and I know that we cant trust our politicians to not put a foreigner in those positions if the law permits it. All they have to do is to throw a Ghanaian passport their way.
That's why we have to ensure there's no amendment.

Countries with robust systems and rigorous security clearance system will still let you renounce your other citizenship if you get into their highest security ranks. But Ghana o but here is Ama Ghana, who even struggled to determine the cause of a crash that killed her Defence Minister is looking to take away the only thing that protects her from foreigners taking over her sensitive positions.

Yes, we don't have the systems that allow the US and the likes to let anyone they want into their highest ranks. It's that article in the constitution that's safeguarding our national security.

If you're a Ghanaian born dual citizen, look beyond what they are telling you and see the loophole in this proposed amendment.
Do you think you have to be an IGP or CDS to be able to contribute to our development? No. So why do we have to risk it?
Because on the other side of it, it's a great opportunity for foreign governments to take advantage of. Mind you, Ghana interests the world. Anything is possible.

This amendment will do more harm than good. And don't think the world is at peace.
Our forefathers were brighter and saw ahead. Hence, that article. And they even made it possible for us to add to the list based on how the world is moving by including another article that allows parliament to do so.
What they didn't know is this, that the leaders that comes after them will not have their vision, that they were shortsighted.

But we as Citizens can correct the vision. We should stand tall on the shoulders of our forefathers and step to crush anything that threatens our sovereignty and security.
We shouldn't let myopic people set us up for a compromise future.

I remember one time at Accra mall i wanted a taxi to go home, the driver said 50gh, i just pick my phone checked Yango n the price was 35gh, after ordering the car, i was waiting he came back n said he will take 40 cedis😂😂 I said naa Im okay.
