@FloWrestling We tried doublets the first two years of our youth club. After that no one wanted them
We now offer them on a need basis. Out of over 50 kids only 2 want doublets
Congratulations to our three guys who have been named OHSAA Division 3 All State Recipients. Roderick Love: Offensive 3rd Team. Devin Shaw-Mason: Defensive 2nd Team. Brandon Homady: Offensive 2nd Team. Congratulations, boys!
Michael Strahan disrespected the military during a Veterans Day pre-game show on @NFLonFOX. The great irony is Strahan on a ship surrounded by men and women who would willingly sacrifice their lives to protect his freedom. So, his behavior is not just repugnant, it's downright cowardly.
The field is set.
Congratulations to the top 16 wrestlers in the state of Ohio for advancing to the big stage.
You are only 2 wins away from an All-State medal & 4 straight wins puts you on the top of the podium as State Champion.
Bruin Youth Wrestling Club hosted the best! Nathan Tomasello - 4X State Champion
- 4X All American Ohio State University - 4X Big 10 Champion - National Champion Ohio State University - Pan American Champion - 2021 Alternate USA Olympic Team - Current Padua Wrestling Coach
@DrewBlogz Started our youth club 5 years ago bought all 2piece uniforms
No one wanted them and are twice the price of singlets.
Still using them for all-stars.
If you’re a wrestler and allow your doctor to repair your meniscus instead of just trim the torn area, you aren’t serious about being a wrestler. They will insist it be repaired for your long-term health. 😒 You are a combat athlete. Not a 50-year old sedentary man. You aren’t going to just be walking your dog. If you want to keep wrestling, you need to be able to train.
100% of the repaired meniscus treatments we’ve seen (over a dozen) have torn again inside a month. Oh, and did I mention it’s a 6-month recovery vs a 4-week recovery. Only to have to do the surgery again, this time doing what should have been done the first time. So far it’s doctors who know everything - zero, wrestling coaches who understand combat sports - all.
Our medical system is completely out of whack and our faith in doctor’s recommendations needs to be at least questioned. Some of the diagnosis and proposed treatments I hear from our athletes are just disheartening.
