I am using this opportunity to thank those who took it upon themselves to educate our youths in Yorùbáland not to participate in the violent protests. You guys are the real V. I. P. We are really grateful for the fathers and mothers who spoke to their children, pastors and Imams who cautioned their members, uncles and aunts who spoke to the cousins and husbands who spoke to their wives vice versa.

Nigeria is very volatile at the moment and any form of violent protest will lead to another Sudan 2.0.

Nigerian politics is not 2+2=4, it can be 2+2=7. There is always an agenda within an agenda, a caucus within a caucus and a coup within a coup.

The Southwest must never allow a repeat of ENDSARS in our region again no matter the level of gaslighting and manipulations. A lot of people are bitter that Lagos and Ibadan have not been turned into another Mogadishu via violent protests and chaos.

I also want to use this opportunity to warn the federal government under the leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to make the mistake of not decentralizing Nigeria as soon as possible. A centralized Nigeria will lead to total anarchy, corruption and instability.

To have a form of peace and tranquility, we need ethnolinguistic federalism in Nigeria because the diversity of Nigeria has been weaponized for a brutal power struggle
