দেশীয় প্রযুক্তিতে নির্মিত এই বিশেষায়িত জাহাজটি মোংলা বন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষের অপারেশনাল কার্যক্রমকে সঞ্চার করবে নতুন গতিতে। পোর্ট চ্যানেল, সুন্দরবন ও গভীর সমুদ্রে যে কোন জরুরি অনুসন্ধান ও উদ্ধার অভিযান (Search and Rescue), দুর্ঘটনাকালীন জরুরি চিকিৎসা সহায়তা (Medical Evacuation) এবং বিপদগ্রস্ত জাহাজকে সহায়তা প্রদানে বিশেষায়িত এই জাহাজটি অগ্রণী ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহিনী কর্তৃক পরিচালিত খুলনা শিপইয়ার্ডে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের এই জাহাজ নির্মাণ, প্রকৌশল খাতে বাংলাদেশের স্বনির্ভরতার এক অনন্য দৃষ্টান্ত।

Bangladesh has finalized its first major Economic Partnership Agreement — with Japan. 🇯🇵🇧🇩

This is a historic step, signalling our focus on policy continuity, investment protection and credible dispute resolution. These are the fundamentals that matter when capital commits for the long term.

What’s exciting is where this leads. Beyond traditional manufacturing and energy, the EPA opens space for sectors like automotive, digital services, logistics and healthcare. Japanese investment brings more than capital — it brings technology, skills, systems and standards. That mix changes how economies scale.

This, however, is just the beginning. We know we need to set up such platforms with major markets for a successful LDC graduation. We are, therefore, engaging with our partners across continents — including the United States 🇺🇸, the European Union 🇪🇺, and South Korea 🇰🇷 to ink such agreements.

Bangladesh is not waiting for the future to arrive; we are putting the architecture in place now.
