What I find wild is that there are so many multiple generation physicians

Like you’re telling me your parent went through this miserable mess and was like “yaaas do it!!” when you said you wanted to be a physician 🤯

I wouldn’t even speak to my colleagues like that …a simple “hey what about this? XYZ is also an option” “I don’t agree with xyz” is ALOT better than “UHHH BUT ARE YOU SURE”

As an intern I can say I have always been reminded to respect nurses … keep them informed… say please and thank you - you know the regular stuff you should do with EVERYONE but it’s always been engraved even as a med student - don’t make the nurse angry
