My heart is just so replete with heartfelt prayers against Muslims and Arabs.
May we see Allah's punishment expedited against them without a single atom of mercy. May we see it as soon as possible in this life and in the hereafter.
May Allah curse and replace them.
I don't know why many Muslims says Madrassas don't introduce literate people,
if a child is understanding things in his own mother tongue, what's the issue? There are countless vernacular schools in India offering free primary education in children's own mother tongue. Madrassas are doing the same, people can learn other skills no matter what,
why we Muslims suffer from internalised Islamophobia?
This is so despicable that our own community suffers from this inferiority complex.
Don't scratch it Nabiya, everyone knows about Ur the propaganda u paddle, people will start asking who's Kaushik again and you won't be able explain it
People keep bringing up the woman's emotional video, saying she felt betrayed, heartbroken, or that justice wasn't done. Let's separate emotions from the actual ruling.
No one denies that a woman may find such a situation deeply painful. But hardship does not alter what Allah has legislated.
If the reports about the incident are accurate, then instead of creating a public spectacle, it would have been better to exercise patience, seek Allah's reward and address the matter privately with her husband.
PATIENCE DURING TRIALS IS AMONG THE GREATEST ACTS OF WORSHIP, and Allah has promised immense reward for those who endure for His sake.
After that, the real question would be whether the husband fulfills the rights Allah has placed upon him. Is he dealing justly? Is he providing maintenance, time, and the rights due to each wife? If he fails in those obligations, then he is sinful and will be held accountable before Allah. No one is denying that.
However, if he fulfills the conditions Allah has imposed, then the permissibility of his marriage is not negated by the emotional difficulty of the situation.
This is exactly why we must distinguish between two separate issues:
1. Is a husband obligated to deal justly with his wives? Yes. Without question.
2. Is he obligated to obtain his first wife's permission before contracting a second marriage? NO. Neither the Qur'an nor the authentic Sunnah makes her permission a condition for the validity of the marriage.
If a husband chooses to inform or discuss it with his wife out of love, mercy, wisdom and consideration, that is praiseworthy. But if he does not, he has not violated a condition that Allah or His Messenger ﷺ imposed.
Don't place your whims and desires above Islam. Wallahu aalam.
