Ireland has the most EXPENSIVE diesel costs in Europe and has one of the most HIGHEST petrol prices. Consumers in Ireland pay 40% above the EU average for household goods. Ireland has the most EXPENSIVE net electricity prices in the EU. We have the HIGHEST ever recorded numbers of Irish homelessness, with more than 92,000 children classified as having an 'ongoing need' for housing, The State spent a staggering €1 billion on housing for immigrants in the first half of 2024. So where exactly did the €114 Billion allocated in so-called 'public spending' actually go?.
