@just_blacky@cfryant@OpenAI - "One down" (misses a shot)
- Tanks two spreads with no damage whatsoever
- Pinkie is somehow a land cacodemon
- "Revenant next" (no revenants in sight)
- Refuses to elaborate and runs on air to the exit.
Advancements and all, but yeah, this still looks like total ass.
@HunterKenchov @KIRBYSWARPSTAR Millions of people publicly switching the platform means at least some won't return. When it happens again and again (as it does), that adds up. Not many new users join either, due to site's bad reputation.
Tumblr fell that way, Facebook fell that way. Now it's Twitter's turn.
@HunterKenchov @KIRBYSWARPSTAR Losing millions of people overnight (including major publications and celebrities) is certainly tiers above "randos falling for fearmongering". I don't think Twitter will die, but with the way it keeps bleeding users for months, the writing for its web dominance is on the wall.
( https://t.co/Llz20eoloq i post some things and doodles on bluesky if anyone's interested. Maybe will get into a habit of actually updating the thing regularly now that it's a new leaf to start with )
@wally_jefferson Half of these games were released way past the gaming era in question, and the other half praised as notable exceptions. The median wasn't at DMC; it was at stuff like Chaos Legion, or Shadowman, or Nanobreaker, or The Bouncer. Feel free to play them and tell me where I'm wrong.
@potemki11 Платные VPN хорошо вытягивают 720/1080р, так что советую посмотреть в этом направлении. Сам пользуюсь RedShield'ом, они помимо прочего активно банвейвы роскомпозора доджат.
@CarbonRemix_ @BurgundyStriker Arkham Asylum's "freeflow combat" and games inspired by it (Sleeping Dogs and PS3-era Spiderman come to mind).
Nothing against the aforementioned games themselves, as they treated this combat system well - more that there was a lot of early-2010s slop which didn't.
@KMMA3 @rowster__ She spends her whole time in Imperishable Night talking in food analogies, and she's also often seen eating something in side-material.
@TTVdaws__@FrankGr67034658 @Ovendudes @LumpyTheCook Scummy bot hosters have no direct connection to Valve, and their criminal activities (doxxing and swatting) also happen off the game, so I really doubt you can just sue Valve for that.
Besides, it would be easier for Valve to just fully retire the game if that lawsuit happens.
@FrankGr67034658@TTVdaws__ @Ovendudes @LumpyTheCook There's yet to be a precedent for a game (a non-paid one at that) to be sued for its semantics on digital marketplace, and even if it somehow becomes a legal case, Valve can basically just change the description and/or stop updating the game entirely.
@TTVdaws__ @Ovendudes @LumpyTheCook TF2 doesn't bring a ton of money, Valve doesn't violate law by abandoning it, the game was already maintained for 15+ years, and "the goodness of hearts" wouldn't make up for the budget and manpower that makes more sense to spend elsewhere (especially with Deadlock on the table).
@TTVdaws__ @Ovendudes @LumpyTheCook Which would it be? Asking not from perspective of fans, but from perspective of how Valve would be interested in that themselves.
@Ovendudes @TTVdaws__@LumpyTheCook Tbf, calling people on "loser mentality" for expressing skepticism is also eh. I admire the spirit, but with game being ancient, code spaghetti as is, and devs already working on different PvP shooter, is there even a compelling reason for Valve to fix TF2 beyond "i want it so"?
@yukanarion Neither - she's not actually subservient to anyone, and she helps people purely out of natural desire to do so (being komainu and all).
I like to think of her and Reimu as two friends with overlapping goals more than anything.
