Mike Rowe: “We’ve been telling kids for 15 years to learn to code.”
“Well, AI is coming for the coders.”
“It’s not coming for the welders, the plumbers, the steamfitters, the pipefitters, the HVAC, or the electricians.”
“In Aspen, I sat and listened to Larry Fink say we need 500,000 electricians in the next couple of years—not hyperbole.”
“The BlueForge Alliance, who oversees our maritime industrial base—that’s 15,000 individual companies who are collectively charged with building and delivering nuclear-powered subs to the Navy … calls and says, we’re having a hell of a time finding tradespeople. Can you help?”
“I said, I don’t know, man … how many do you need? He says, 140,000.”
“These are our submarines. Things go hypersonic, a little sideways with China, Taiwan, our aircraft carriers are no longer the point of the spear. They’re vulnerable.”
“Our submarines matter, and these guys have a pinch point because they can’t find welders and electricians to get them built.”
“The automotive industry needs 80,000 collision repair and technicians.”
“Energy, I don’t even know what the number is, I hear 300,000, I hear 500,000.”
“There is a clear and present freakout going on right now. I’ve heard from six governors in the last six months. I’ve heard from the heads of major companies.”

Might I offer a different perspective, Sir Clifford? 🙏
If you mean that some organized religion, and the power structures created within it, have wreaked copious amounts of bad shit over the years, then I completely agree. It’s one of the most heartbreaking things about the history of “the Church”.
But in its truest definition, a “church” is a people. Like minded, hearted, souled people that are coming together in community, to lift up one another, those around them, and their creator. There are many churches like this all over the world. And they are not about hoarding power to control others. They are about sharing the love, grace, mercy, hope, and forgiveness of God. And that’s pretty great. 🙌
Our side lost because of the intolerance of the tolerant left. If you don’t see that, then we will keep losing.
People didn’t vote for Trump, they voted against you.
They voted against your “if you don’t agree with me then you’re my enemy” mentality.
They voted against your need to have an echo chamber or risk being canceled.
They voted against being attacked for a difference in opinion.
They voted against being called pedos, racists, homophobes, Nazis simply for disagreeing with you.
They voted for the right to keep YOU out of decisions for their children.
They voted against having to walk on eggshells for fear of offending someone.
I don’t care who I piss off by saying this, step out of the tunnel vision and have a civil conversation with folks and take responsibility for your part in pushing people, who are on the fence, to vote against you.
After four years of waking up to cold, gray days of misery and hate, America woke up today to a blazing morning of hope, joy, and a record stock market. God bless America and God bless President-elect Donald Trump.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” ~2 Chronicles 7:14
May God bless America. 🙏🏼❤️🇺🇸
As the sun rises on America, we’re all waking up to one of the most significant days in our country’s history. Certainly in our collective lifetimes. Both sides of the political divide feel quite confidently that the fate of the free world is hanging in the balance. I would argue that all of our fears, and therefore all of our opinions, come down to where we’re deriving our information from. And that can be summed up, albeit in very general terms, by whether or not you still trust the legacy media.
My friends on the Left, by and large, still do. My friends on the Right, by and large, do not. And while I’ve considered myself a moderate Libertarian most of my adult life, I have found myself in the latter category. It’s not that I believe every person working for the legacy media is a bad or untrustworthy person, but rather that the industry as a whole has been corrupted with agenda, bias, and special interest that has absolutely compromised what used to be neutral, unbiased, straight forward journalism.
And this is one of the main reasons I have found myself, for the first time, supporting @realDonaldTrump for President. Story upon story that is blasted on legacy media, attempting to paint Trump in a certain negative light, is easily debunked by simply going on the internet, in places like here on @X, and watching the various misleading videos in their full context. Trump is not a perfect man. I have discussed my issues with him at length in previous posts. But the lengths to which the legacy media is knowingly complicit in spreading falsehoods about him, while offering little to no effort in holding the current administration, and specifically Kamala Harris, to account, is indicative of the deep corruption within our government and their collusion with the media.
But beyond that, Trump has surrounded himself with a cadre of incredible human beings, like @RobertKennedyJr@TulsiGabbard@JDVance@VivekGRamaswamy@elonmusk and now @RonPaul who will collectively offer this country the first, true opportunity to root out the corruption that has had a strange hold on our country for far too long, and usher in what I believe will be one of the greatest and most prosperous eras, for ALL people, that this nation has ever seen.
All that said, this is just my humble opinion. I could be absolutely wrong. So while encourage you all to vote today, I implore you to dive as deep as you can into all of the information that is readily available to you. Here on X, or elsewhere. A vote is powerful. But a truly informed vote is world changing. Sending every one of you and your families, left, right, and center, all the love and light. May God continue to bless you, and may God continue to bless America. 🙏
