@RealJamesWoods For their first 3 years of school, Japanese children are given a priceless gift. If you have ever visited or plan to visit Japan, the societal payoff is clear.
Blue bags up.
Japan 2, Netherlands 2 — an absolute thriller in Arlington. And then the real show started.
The Japanese end pulls out thousands of bright blue bags. First they wave them like flags, bouncing and chanting until the whole section is one giant wall of blue. Then — same bags, new mission. They fan out across the stands and scoop up every bottle, wrapper and cup till the seats look brand new.
And who's right in the middle of it, grinning with a bag in his hand? Jameis Winston. Giants QB. Heisman winner. Out there cleaning up with the Samurai Blue like it's the best gig of his summer.
No chore. No lecture. Just a party that cleans up after itself.
Best fans on the planet. 🇯🇵💙
The second I read “scoop up every bottle,” I was hit with a wave of goosebumps for their kind gesture. This is not a one off. Manners and politeness are ingrained in school children for their first 3 years, before academics. I am grateful to have experienced this gentle and polite society while traveling Japan.
@Vit_Voz_@JohnKel58896389@SecretaryBurgum Underground subway station, Moscow. One of the most beautiful features of the city. We toured this one and about 5 additional stations to see their unique beauty and architecture (2018).
He was pleased. I told him 1.5 million people saw his picture and his art. He was happy. You all made him happy and I’m pleased to know he made others happy. My daughter got this video of me telling him about his fame.
Hello Senator....
This November it will be 50 years since you were first elected to Congress, so we want to be the first to say .
"Happy 50th Anniversary of drawing a taxpayer funded salary."
That is quite an achievement.
In fact - you are 2nd longest-still serving member in Congress.
It has been a long time since you held a private sector job.
AND yes 50 years ago - in 1976 (it was America's Bicentennial that year) - people still punched clocks back then. The world has changed a lot.
During your 50 years in Congress - you watched as the creators and inventors and producers changed the world, creating trillions in new wealth, millions of new jobs and dramatically raising living standards for everyone rich and poor alike.
And for 50 years you have voted to raise taxes and regulate and oversee every move of the private sector.
You have never created or invented or produced. Just taxed and regulated and outraged.
But thank you for using the platform the "TRILLIONAIRE class" has provided to the entire world for free to tell us all how disgusted you are.
We would never know otherwise.
When @PeteButtigieg got $1.2 TRILLION to fix America’s roads and bridges… then said the money would be used to tear down racist roads.
A moment so absurdly woke even Al Sharpton shot him a look that said, “Brother…. you crazy.”
Hello Mr. Platner,
Ratio.
That's it. That's the whole rebuttal.
You are someone who, by the virtue of his Reddit posts, manages to be simultaneously a filthy-literal-Communist and anti-Semite. That in itself is an egregious sin, because literal, card-carrying Communists are fundamentally at odds with America's norms.
But if that weren't enough, you have voluminous Reddit posts defending the Nazi Totenkopf symbol. You clearly knew the tattoo you got and you defended it publicly. There's no either/or way about it.
Scum attracts scum. Which is why you can comfortably swim in both literal-Communist and literal-antisemitic far-right circles.
I am no fan of Sue Collins. But the fact you are running against her, that you have even the smallest chance of defeating her --
you, as someone who is a self-admitted Communist, someone who has Nazi sympathies -- not to mention all the horrific, personal-life stuff --
You are the worst candidate in history, right AND left. You are the authoritarian evil that every "democracy" group speaks about, yet they will hypocritically not say a word against because they believe that being anti-Trump is more important than allying with Communists or Nazis.
You are not "populist." On the contrary:
You are the perfected example of how liberal democracy has rotted so far that they'd rather stay silent about you, hoping you'll win against the most moderate Republican in the Senate, than to hand Trump the possibility of retaining the Senate.
@ScottJenningsKY Not only divorced from reality but being around anyone who’s just been fired is an ear bending task. At the height of emotions, they’re feeling persecuted and defensive, so not the ideal time to give them much weight.
