This is Captain Bharat Bhardwaj right after earning his Wings at the official CAATS Nashik Passing-Out Parade (2 June 2026). Families are invited for the ceremony. The helicopter was on display at the venue, not on a reconnaissance mission.

He proposed to his girlfriend of 5 years in front of fellow officers, instructors and loved ones who cheered. That’s not “diminishing the institution” that’s an officer proudly sharing his milestone with the woman who stood by him. The uniform is respected precisely because officers like him balance duty with humanity.

Rigid uncles turning a family celebration into a scandal are the ones actually hurting the image.
