For the new mandate, EP's rules make it mandatory for MEPs to undergo training on preventing workplace conflict & harassment.
The training covers:
1️⃣ Building & leading a productive team
2️⃣ Preventing conflict & harassment in the workplace
It should be a given that all staff are safe from harassment. While mandatory training is a step in the right direction, real change requires large changes in administrative structures, commitment & a culture where harassment is never tolerated.
☝️Training alone is not enough!
