@MoralMedicine @MarahHehemannMD As someone who's been cognitively impaired by finasteride, I, too, wish the nonsexual issues got more attention, and I've said as much through this account. However, it's important to note that sexual issues do account for the plurality of reported post-finasteride issues. (1/2)

Urologist Dr. Marah Hehemann @MarahHehemannMD warns patients of the possible negative impact of finasteride on s*xual function, both at higher (for BPH) and lower doses (for male pattern baldness).

There is a 5–10% chance that the drug will affect s*xual function.
