From the 1st Cork Senior County to the 10th, with a few Munster’s & All Irelands thrown in, we would like to acknowledge this great team and club. It’s by no means the end and we can’t wait to see what the future brings, but for now, thank you girls! 🧡🖤💪🏻@MourneabbeyLFC
Following on from confirmation that the O'Sullivan sisters, Ciara and Doireann, have retired from inter-county football comes news that another former @CorkLGFA star, Roisin Phelan, has also stepped away from the inter-county game
Roisin won 5 @TG4TV All-Ireland Senior medals during a glittering career and she was also honoured with a TG4 All Star award in 2018
An incredible servant to Cork, Roisin was one of the very best defenders in the business and we wish her well in inter-county retirement

We would like to take this opportunity to wish @CorkLGFA and @MourneabbeyLFC's Ciara O'Sullivan all the very best following confirmation that she has retired from inter-county football
Ciara joined the Cork senior panel in 2008 and steps away as an 8-time @TG4TV All-Ireland Senior medallist and five-time TG4 All Star
Ciara was the last Cork captain to lift the Brendan Martin Cup, in 2016, and she's been speaking to @echolivecork about her decision to retire from the inter-county scene

It has now been confirmed that Ciara O'Sullivan's sister, Doireann, is also bringing the curtain down on her glittering inter-county career
Doireann was a five-time @TG4TV All-Ireland Senior Championship medallist with @CorkLGFA and a TG4 All Star in 2018
Another fabulous @MourneabbeyLFC star who will be sorely missed in county colours

'That one's for Ciara O'Sullivan!'
See Ellie Jack from the same @MourneabbeyLFC club as the @CorkLGFA legend, who today announced her retirement, kick the crucial score in @ucc_gaa's O'Connor Cup semi-final win over UU.
