Oh look at this beautiful whisket (#EveryDaysASchoolDay) in the collections of @worcestermuseum. We thought you might like to see this basket in our collections, which was used along with the Salter Scales, to weigh new-borns. @MeadowBirth @RCPI_ObsGyn #Basketry

@MeadowBirth Pretty sure yours aren't made from wood, either! We're about to embark on a project about birthing stories. We'd love for you to be involved. We'll let you know when we start collecting and what we find in our archive.
Today on #IDM2020 we want to thank all of our midwives and maternity staff for the incredible job they do every single day.
This video is made from photos that our mums have sent us in, all to say #ThankYouMidwives 👏🤱
Midwife means 'with woman'. 365 days a year, in the day & night, in storms or sunshine, when the world is at ease or when there is fear and we miss our friends, still we will be with women, behind a mask but smiling ❤️ Art by Claudia Tremblay Happy#internationaldayofthemidwife
Have you recently welcomed a new baby or babies to your family?
To celebrate International Day of the Midwife next week, we’d love to share your messages of thanks or support with our hardworking midwives!
Please DM us or reply with your short video or photo messages💙 #IDM2020
Meet Sandy. Sandy has just this minute come off my mum’s knitting needles. My mum named Sandy after my aunt who died of coronavirus on Friday. Mum has asked me to ask you to share Sandy in the hope she can pay a little back to those nurses who tried. 😢

Some of the staff on our delivery suite took a quick moment to celebrate our amazing staff and all their hard work👏
Don’t worry they all stuck to the national guidance by keeping all dance moves 2 metres apart 💃↔️💃
