Meals for Vets is honored to accept a $500,000 grant from Texas Veterans Commission. This will help us feed 300 to 500 Veterans and their families over the next year. Every donation and grant helps, 92% of every donation goes directly to the cost of meals.
Our employee spotlight this week is on Walter H. He joined our team in May of 2022. Walter has helped countless Veterans. We could not ask for a better addition to our team.

This week we are proud to share Texas A&M University at College Station as one of our partners. With their assistance, we have fed more than 30 Veteran Students enrolled at this location alone since the start of our partnership in August 2019.
On this day in 1964, American boxer Muhammad Ali, known at the time as Cassius Clay, became the world heavyweight champion by knocking out Sonny Liston in seven rounds.
This week we would like to show our appreciation to an amazing asset to our team Jim S.
