@KendallRogers@RaysBaseball@SpartanBSB Great hire for Norfolk State! ML is a really good scout and an even better person. He will be missed by the Rays.
@IlliniBaseball Mark Allen was one of a kind. A tremendous person, coach, mentor, scout, teammate, and friend. I will miss his quick wit which always kept me on my toes, but more importantly how he made you feel after you spoke to him. My condolences to his family. Love you Brother!
I am honored and humbled to be elected into the Mid Atlantic Scouts Association Hall of Fame. I was grateful to have my family, my Rays teammates, and my Guardians teammates there with me on this special night. Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients. @MASAscouts
I lost my main man a couple days ago. Peter J. Meaney passed away on Nov. 5th. My Dad was my rock. I couldn’t have asked for a better Father, or a better role model. He taught me the game I love, but more importantly he showed me how to be a better man. Rest in peace, Dad.
I am excited to accept the National Crosschecker position with the Tampa Bay Rays. I want to thank the Cleveland Guardians for all that they have done for me over the years.
Congratulations to 8th graders Abigail Meaney and Joshua Ward for representing HGMS at the North Carolina All State Honor Band at UNC Greensboro this past weekend!
@AventNeil4 No one did it better. Lon was a man of the utmost integrity and class. He will be remembered for how he did his job and how he treated people. I will miss him.
As someone whose career in professional ball started as a scout, Royals general manager Dayton Moore knows the value of talent evaluation. But how has that changed in the last 25 years? He talked to @DavidLaurilaQA about that, his time in K.C., and more. https://t.co/ilwtlDeem1
