I think it's time I share the technique.

Program: Ibispaint
Step 1: get a random image
Step 2: apply chrome filter and edit parameter things
Step 3: look for things that resemble faces, limbs, etc
Step 4: apply filters

Done!

take something VERY pale and veiny as a base probably very contrastish so veins pop even after the filter and can be properly colored in later top add more texture

looks similar to how rust texture is generated look into there if not possible to use the same method

Ya ever wonder what woulda happened if Ferry made full sprites for Asya? Are ya not satiated with how the Artbook handled it?

LOOK NO FURTHER. I MADE ASYA FULL SPRITES BASED ON SKETCHES FROM IT. (Also other edits i made before in comments)
