“Dystopian America ruled by totalitarian regime that forces select group of people to participate in comically evil contest of survival” has to be the most tired genre of action-slop across all mediums.
The other day I had a conversation with Jackson Hinkle on his show. The show has now been published.
I regret the conversation for several reasons:
1. Because I did not properly understand the political vitriol that has been spread through the United States within the left by the emergence of the what has been called the ‘American Communist Party’;
2. Because I was uncomfortable with the questions that tried to make the case that the left should not champion the fights for basic human dignity (such as around the issue of racism and of sexual discrimination), when I – in fact – believe in the fundamental right to human dignity, for the emancipation of all of our humanity;
3. Because I feel that these ‘arguments’ are defined by the internet and frame the issue of human dignity in a very wrong and malicious way (I am happy to discuss homosexuality and Marxism, but do not accept the view that the socialist projects in the poorer nations have a ‘conservative’ culture that is homophobic – China decriminalised homosexuality in 1997 and Cuba produced a most liberated Family Law in 2022 through a general referendum process).
I am always happy to speak anywhere and with anyone, but I dislike being trapped into conversations that are framed in a malicious way and are not genuine about building the socialist left in the widest possible manner.

@RedPrecariat As great a thinker and leader as Lenin was, this was certainly his largest mistake. This federalist nonsense unfortunately allowed for petty nationalisms to be used as a tool of imperialism to weaken (and ultimately destroy) the Soviet Union.
China corrected this mistake.
@PTD2036 Yep, Capitalism is the supreme authority of capital. The primary interest is to turn the populace into rentier slaves. Everything, including growth, is at the behest of capital.
Socialism is the supreme authority of the working class above all. It is the hegemony of the people.
Most people worldwide, including most WOMEN, do not care about your westoid “analysis” about how “misogynistic” their culture is.
Your entire worldview is based on the opinions of the idealist shitlibs in your immediate vicinity (college campus)
One of the biggest weaknesses of the western psyche is the constant need to cast your own petty moral prescriptions upon the rest of the world, and thus pass judgment on entire groups of people through emotionally charged labels.
The discourse about Ukraine exposes why so much focus in our history classes was put on “appeasement” leading up to WW2. Basically, it’s the perfect red herring for imperialists to point to for why America (and American tax dollars) have to be involved in everyone else’s wars.

> Second most well-known feat is being so incompetent that he caused his country to start a revolution against him
