1975 Porsche 911 Turbo (930) | CAD Modeling for 3D Printing
we developed this miniature CAD model inspired by the iconic 1975 @Porsche 911 Turbo, focusing on its distinctive wide-body profile, recognizable front end, sloping roofline, and classic rear-engine sports car proportions.
The objective of this project was to translate an iconic automotive form into a detailed digital model suitable for 3D printing using @SOLIDWORKS The process involves interpreting the vehicle's geometry, shaping its exterior surfaces, and considering the design requirements needed to turn a digital model into a physical miniature.
Projects like this bring together mechanical CAD modeling, surface design, attention to detail, and additive manufacturing preparation.
Designed digitally. Engineered for physical realization.

What if your hair-styling device could mist, heat, and straighten — all at the press of a button?
Introducing Anywhere Curls — a product design project developed by MECHORYX, exploring a smarter approach to everyday hair styling.
The concept brings together three key functions in one device:
• Button-Activated Mist System: Delivers mist at the press of a button.
• Integrated Heating Coil: Generates heat for the hair-styling process.
• Airflow System: Directs heated air to support the straightening process.
Behind this concept is the challenge of bringing multiple functions together through thoughtful mechanical design, component integration, and 3D CAD modelling using @SOLIDWORKS
At MECHORYX, we transform ideas into engineered product concepts, combining functionality, design, and engineering precision.
Every great product starts with an idea. We help bring it to life.

PawLink — Cable End Sleeve | Product Design Concept
A cable end sleeve does not have to be purely functional. Thoughtful product design can turn a simple component into a recognizable product.
PawLink is a cat-inspired cable end sleeve concept designed around a combination of cable protection, compact geometry, and visual identity.
Design focus
Cable end protection
Compact and lightweight form
Smooth, rounded geometry
Integrated decorative features
CAD-driven product development
Design suitable for prototyping and manufacturing
The goal was to explore how an everyday cable accessory can be transformed through 3D CAD modeling and product-focused design thinking, without compromising its fundamental purpose.
Designed and developed as a 3D CAD product concept.
What are your thoughts on combining functional engineering with character-driven product design?

What happens when you mix the Porsche 911 Turbo with the 935?
This was one of those projects where I wanted to experiment with two very different sides of Porsche’s design language.
I took inspiration from the 911 Turbo for its proportions and road-car character, then brought in the wider, more aggressive motorsport feel of the 935.
The result is a CNC car concept that sits somewhere between a road car and a race car.
A few things I focused on during the design:
• Combining the shapes without simply copying either car
• Creating a wider and more aggressive stance
• Keeping the surfaces clean and purposeful
• Developing the model with CNC manufacturing in mind
It was a really fun exercise in seeing how two iconic designs can influence a completely different interpretation.
What do you think — 911 Turbo or 935 influence?

Baby Cart Design | Product Development
A completed baby cart design focused on combining strength, stability, functionality, and practical everyday use.
The cart features a durable steel frame designed to provide a solid and reliable structure while keeping the overall design practical by using @SOLIDWORKS as our primary CAD software to demonstrate it
Key aspects of the design include:
• Strong and stable steel-frame construction
• Practical folding mechanism for easy storage
• Stable wheel configuration for smooth movement
• Carefully designed joints and frame connections
• Functional structure developed with real-world use in mind
• Manufacturing considerations incorporated into the design
The goal was simple: take a practical idea and turn it into a well-thought-out product design.
Another completed project showcasing how thoughtful mechanical design can make everyday products more functional, reliable, and manufacturable.

Medical Neck Rest
Sometimes, good design is simply about making someone feel a little more comfortable by using CAD software @SOLIDWORKS
This Medical Neck Rest was designed with that thought in mind — providing gentle, stable support while allowing the user to move naturally and comfortably.
The ergonomic shape helps support the neck and maintain proper alignment, while the adjustable fastening allows for a more personalized fit. Lightweight and breathable materials make it suitable for longer periods of use.
Whether someone is recovering from an injury, going through rehabilitation, or simply needs additional cervical support, the goal is the same:
Make recovery a little easier. Make support feel natural.
Because behind every medical product is a person who deserves thoughtful design.

Assisted Walking Stick
Sometimes, good engineering is simply about making everyday life a little easier.
This Assisted Walking Stick was designed with one simple idea in mind: walking support shouldn’t only help you move — it should also give you a place to rest when you need it.
The design combines a stable walking frame with an integrated suspended seat, allowing the user to take a short break without needing to find a chair made on @SOLIDWORKS
It features:
• Adjustable height
• Ergonomic support
• Lightweight yet durable construction
• Integrated resting seat
• Designed for stability and everyday use
The concept can be particularly useful for elderly users, people recovering from surgery, rehabilitation, and anyone who experiences fatigue while walking or standing for long periods.
What I enjoyed most about this design was finding the balance between function, comfort, strength, and simplicity — because a good product should not only work well, it should feel natural to use.
That’s what mechanical design is all about:
turning a simple idea into something that can make a real difference.
