Malnutrition can be deadly.
It also can't be solved in a single visit.
This is the story of Salwa, a little girl in Gaza who spent months being treated by MedGlobal.
She's doing better.
But there are so many more Salwas - and they need your help.
Your support allows MedGlobal to treat children in Gaza for malnutrition, making it possible for them to have a healthy start to their young life.

Humbled to represent @MedGlobal and join the esteemed group of humanitarian leaders to discuss new solutions on supporting humanitarian aid and development in light of the cuts on foreign aid and dismantling of USAID, hilighting the role of philanthropy, interfaith, localization, and the 4Ds in Humanitarian Rest: Define priorities, Deliver and cut in red tape, Devolve power to the populations we serve, and Defend IHL.
I highlighted the impact of cuts on the fields in Sudan, Syria, Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, Colombia, Bangladesh, and Ukraine, and how to use technology and innovation to build resilience and empower local healthcare professionals.
We discussed how MedGlobal is meeting the needs of vulnerable global communities amid major transitions in international development and humanitarian aid.
Thank you @CFR_org, Irina Faskianos and Samantha Chang for arranging the inspiring discussion among diverse faith leaders in the US during 2026 Religion and Foreign Policy Workshop.
Much appreciation to Myal Greene Greene, president and chief executive officer of World Relief; @abbymaxman, president and chief executive officer of Oxfam America, and Dr. Beth Oppenheim, chief executive officer of HIAS, and Sam Vigersky, international affairs fellow at CFR, who moderated the discussion.
I'll be at the MedGlobal annual conference in Chicago, hope to see you there. If you're looking to connect with humanitarian professionals of all stripes it's the place to be!

Severe flooding along the Euphrates River has affected communities across parts of eastern Syria after one of the heaviest rainy seasons in nearly 30 years.
Homes, schools, mosques, farmland, and a refugee camp have been inundated, forcing families to flee.
But the danger does not end when the water recedes.
Contaminated water, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted access to care can quickly turn flooding into a health emergency.
MedGlobal is already on the ground, providing emergency medical care, essential medicines, and support for disease prevention.

For many families in rural Yemen, seeing a doctor is not routine.
It can mean walking long distances, waiting for hours, or reaching a health unit that is no longer functioning.
That is where MedGlobal-supported Female-Friendly Clinics step in.
Today, 70 clinics are operating in some of the hardest-to-reach areas, providing safe delivery, antenatal care, nutrition support, and essential services for mothers, newborns, and families who would otherwise have little or no access to healthcare.
On the Day of Arafah, as many turn to prayer, reflection, and giving, your support can help keep these clinics running, protect newborns, and bring lifesaving care closer to mothers who need it most.

Thank you for continuing to stand with communities facing crisis with dignity, care, and humanity.
Wishing you and your loved ones peace, health, and a blessed Eid.

Your MedGlobal family 🤍
