Unfortunately, not surprised that Hopkins used minorities to see if their experiment to increase profits would be successful at the cost of patients. US healthcare has a huge past and present history of exploiting minorities. Two-tiered healthcare system in the making.

Patient believes they just saw the surgeon instead of the NP because they are both "providers" and don't know better.

There are a number of health systems where you are willingly misled that you are seeing a doctor instead of a midlevel, which should be downright illegal.

@jbryan522 Sounds terrifying. As a MD you should educate yourself about the differences in training between NP and physician, especially a cardiologist. It's bad because they CANNOT provide specialty care with 2 days of online modules. A physician hours away cannot supervise.

@RobinhoodApp Can't wait to close my accounts from this trash broker and move on. They were happy when people lost millions on options daily but now that they have started to make money off the hedge funds, robinhood wants to "protect" its users. I hope they get shut down for this BS.

Brokers have decided to side with hedge funds. Citadel practically owns Robinhood and have decided that blatant market manipulation will be less costly than their awful investments. We need lawmakers to step in at this point and bring the hammer down. Fuck @RobinhoodApp

Once people start recognizing the significant lack of training of NPs for FPA, this is the logical next step. I'll personally stick with most trained providers. Thanks

@ASAGrassroots @GovMurphy Good on New Jersey for signing this legislation but it's a sad state of affairs that we have to celebrate transparency in medicine. Who is fighting against informing patients of their healthcare provider? Why isn't Healthcare Transparency standard across the country?
