URGENT :
#patientengagement
@GilmanFamily@CaregiverON We would love to get connected and discuss this possibility! Something that is super important and that we could definitely use some more training on!
Sorry, we are late to the discussion! Will this documentary be available for public viewing or would someone be able to send it to us so we may advertise it or have an event for medical students to watch it?
@SolidFooting#BuildingaSaferSystem#WorldPatientSafetyDay
@anetto Agreed! We think that learning from patients themselves is critical to medicine. One of our projects is actually to try to get patients and patient advocates talks integrated into the curriculum itself!
Excited to start planning for the strange upcoming year as we continue to try to bring real patient experience and journeys to the medical student curriculum!
PM us if you are a patient advocate who would like to teach and talk to medical students!

Help us continue to serve the mental health needs of Ottawa & surrounding communities. Volunteers continue to answer calls 24/7. Calls are up and costs $$ have increased due to #COVID19. Please consider donating to @DistressCentreO https://t.co/HMx2hd8qH7
#COVID19 has robbed seniors of opportunities to stay social and maintain their sense of community. However, the Student-Senior Isolation Prevention Partnership (SSIPP) program offers a warm and caring solution: https://t.co/sGP85lg3Hj
Although times have been tough on all of us, we are so excited to continue our mission with the help of @gregswings and Ms. Teri Price tomorrow at 3PM ET! We will be having a showing of Falling Through The cracks, the moving story of Greg Price, and a Q&A session after!!
Chest X-ray COVID-19 diagnosis? Super interesting article from my @uOttawaMed MD2022 colleague Ryan Gotesman. He created an #AI to detect COVID-19 pneumonia vs. non-COVID-19 pneumonia with accuracy at 85-90% on 146 images.
