PLEASE READ! I'm a master’s student researching distress symptoms from Emergency Room visits. I've personally had distressing medical experiences, and I'm hoping that increasing the research on this topic will encourage the medical industry to (cont.)
acknowledge the emotional aspect of the patient experience and start making improvements. So, if you feel up to it and you've been to the ER in the past 3 months, I'd really appreciate it if you took just 10 minutes to fill out this survey🙏 ❤️ https://t.co/Utaq7TiEDw

Sometimes a medical treatment or visit is just as distressing or even more distressing than the medical issue itself, but the medical industry isn't addressing that. Research is one of the only things they listen to, so for my master's Thesis I'm investigating (cont.)
distress symptoms patients experience during Emergency Room visits. If you/anyone you know has been to the ER in the past 3 months, please have the patient fill out this anonymous 10 minute survey: https://t.co/x6f0WcOByy

I hope building the body of research on the emotional aspect of the patient experience will encourage the medical industry to start giving it more attention. If you/anyone you know has been to the ER in the past 3 months, please have the patient fill out my survey🙏 ❤️ (cont.)
