Through the spirit of teamwork and shared goals on the field, we create space for critical dialogue off the field — empowering young boys to become allies in promoting gender equality and protecting girls’ rights.

Language shouldn't be a barrier to learning or engagement!

We recognize the importance of local #language in fostering community participation. During our #filmscreenings we collaborate with local public announcers (PA) who speak the native languages of the regions we visit.

He reinforced our shared commitment to protect #girls and #endchildmarriage through collaboration and dialogue.

While #films remain a powerful part of our toolkit, we also believe in the unifying power of #sports and games to foster community dialogue and inspire action.
Coordinated by Young Girls Advocate Theresa, we hosted a spirited friendly #football match at Mwataga Secondary School.

We are currently in Kishapu, implementing the Sauti Zetu Initiative, where we’re holding reflective meetings and community film screenings.

After, we engage in open dialogue, reflecting on how harmful traditions like #earlymarriage limit girls’ potential and rob our nations.

Historically, topics like #childmarriage #SRHR have been seen as taboo, and discussing them openly is considered culturally inappropriate.

Through the #SautiZetuInitiative we are using open film screenings and dialogues to collectively and creative dismantle this norm.

For us, being a storyteller is about more than just narrating tales; it’s about creating connections that truly matter. We believe that storytelling reaches its highest purpose when the community sees itself reflected in the narratives and feels a genuine sense of involvement.
