It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

While it’s important to support our students and ask for educational reforms that positively impact the future of our youth, it’s also very important that peaceful protests by students are Not hijacked by anti national elements to create chaos & change the nature of the protest.

Seeing so much hate & divide online makes me wonder if bad elements in & outside our country have already started to work overtime to weaponise the anger & frustration felt by our students.

I have always believed in hard work, equality and excellence & that should never be compromised. On Sourav Dass's claims, NHRC says "Find the Child. Treat the Child. Identify Those Responsible or Else File an FIR Against Sourav Das"

NHRC takes cognizance of allegations that a minor girl was injured during the New Delhi protest.

Authorities directed to locate the child, provide medical care, and identify those who brought her to the protest.

NHRC also said legal action, including an FIR, should be filed against Sourav Das if his claims are found false.

Delhi Police has already said his claims are false.

Not a single scratch on the organisers. They left the students like fucking sheep up for slaughter. True leader lead from front and they certainly don’t hide while innocent students take the hit. They took the genuine problems and emotions of these students and used them for nothing. The government contacted them the night prior and again early this morning, explicitly stating they were open for conversation, which was the entire point of this protest. Yet, these fuckers didn’t even feel responsible enough to convey this to the students.
Trying to break the barricades and marching into parliament is not your democratic right . You give the state a legitimate reason to use force against you. The organizers knew this was going to happen ..what else did they think would be the result of such an act? They knew a lathi charge was coming and they pushed these innocent students to the edge of it anyway.

While students were getting beaten up, CJP spokesperson @VijetaDahiya was seen roaming around a Burger King far away from the protest site. And the slogans Nepal bana denge', 'Parliament ukhaad denge'.. the act of stone pelting , what is this? This is how you fight for democracy? This is not democracy; this is anarchy. All these while CJP leader @SauravDassss was busy posting contradictory news online, misleading everyone. I AM NO FAN OF GOVERNMENT EITHER. It is a shameful, shameful day. Incredibly sad.

We all value human life, but "fasting unto death" before the Monsoon Session begins on July 20 is strategically premature. Parliament is the correct, institutional venue for accountability and debate on education policy. We don't need emotional blackmail or performative martyrdom; we need legitimate, step-by-step policy engagement once the government and opposition are back in session.
What makes this even more cynical is the role of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). They are using Wangchuk’s health as a political tool to generate momentum while refusing to replicate his sacrifice themselves. It is performative martyrdom: they push one man to the verge of death for “buzz” while the party leadership and its members remain comfortable, not fasting, and merely narrating the deterioration of another human being.
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY.

While I sympathize completely with the value of any human life, and while I strongly support the cause of education reforms and government accountability, the current narrative around Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike is increasingly performative and dangerously misleading. Firstly the intellectual dishonesty of the PR around his name labelling him “SCIENTIST”, he is an engineer turned social activist not a Scientist. Labeling him as one and using that manufactured authority to fuel public outrage is an insult to actual scientific rigor and a distraction from real democratic processes.
