@floofadootz@DrMemeD302 I think initially they kind of were building her up to be the next big antagonist after Toffee, only to subvert it and reveal a lot of her bad rep was High Commission propaganda.
@Protodedester The most important bit though, is the main protagonist still a girl or did they go with a generic male protag pilot? Noa Izumi was a large part of what stood out with Patlabor.
@gundampixel This design makes it look like they stuck a Ball inside the head of a large magic, like docking the Pilder onto Mazinger's head.
That's adorable and I'm all for it.

Together with Schneider, we head to the Foundation. Then, we became the beloved leader of the local Critters!
:'D
@kommanderkarl Third Spider Sister’s subplot was the most infuriating. She wants to go see the outside world but is bound by talismans. Removing the talismans doesn’t free her, you’re informed that a celestial turned her into a pill and taken her away. Thats it. Kind of a slap to the face.
@kommanderkarl I’d have to disagree on wukong being diverse. There’s a hint of ongoing systemic oppression of Yaoguai by Heaven that Wukong was fighting against, but the subplot goes nowhere.
The game’s treatment of women is kinda…well, they -are- there, but they’re disposable to the plot.
@kommanderkarl The Spider Sisters play a big role in chapter three, but…
Violet Spider is killed off by the 100 eyed daoist who was barely mentioned and only shows up at the end.
Third Spider Sister is your ally but her subplot goes nowhere and she disappears from the story altogether.
