The @MediaCouncilK joined local and international stakeholders at the Century Cinemax - Two Rivers Mall, for the launch of “The Bond - Season 6" (a case of Premium Chinese Film and TV programs).
The high-profile event aims to foster cultural exchange through viewership and understanding of Chinese media content.
@Mediacouncilk CEO @DavidOmwoyo emphasised moving beyond the ordinary to sharing authentic stories, noting: "A great television show makes you forget you are even travelling."
The event focused on shared values among Chinese and Kenyans.
In his remarks, the CEO welcomed the screening initiative noting that co-productions, content exchanges, and media training are the future: “Let us keep watching each other’s screens, learning from each other’s cultures, and building a shared future where our stories connect us across oceans.”
