ସ୍ବର୍ଗତ ଶରତ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଦାଶ ନିଜର ଦୀର୍ଘ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତା ଜୀବନରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧ, ନିରପେକ୍ଷ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା ଏବଂ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ସାଧୁତା ପାଇଁ ସର୍ବଦା ଆଦୃତ ଥିଲେ। ରାଜ୍ୟର ରାଜନୀତି, ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଓ ଜନକଲ୍ୟାଣକାରୀ ବିଷୟ ଉପରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଗଭୀର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବିଶ୍ଳେଷଣ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତା ଜଗତରେ ଏକ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଥିଲା।

ତାଙ୍କର ବିୟୋଗ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ଜଗତ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଅପୂରଣୀୟ କ୍ଷତି। ଏହି ଦୁଃଖଦ ସମୟରେ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ଗଭୀର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦ୍��ଗତି କାମନା କରୁଛି।
