Family Mediation, including hybrid and child inclusive. Co-parenting courses. Legal aid and mediation voucher. Supporting separating and changing families.
On #internationalwomensday2024 we’re continuing our pledge to support equality, equity and #inspireinclusion in all we do.
We’ve got an fab team of women - Rebecca Hawkins, Claire Webb, Debbie Bulmer, Anne Scully-Johnson, Lynn Jackson, Jo Findon, Helen Savage and Hayley Mills.
If you have separated, or make the difficult decision to split, please know that it’s possible to do so #withoutcourt. Having an open mind and a willingness to work together is a great start. Then chat to a #familymediator who’ll take you through all the ways you can do it.
Kinship families will be offered four in-person mediation sessions, which will typically take place over 16 weeks. Mediation sessions will be delivered by one of our trained, accredited Family Solutions mediators.

We're committed to building an understanding of what works for #KinshipFamilies, so that families are offered support that is most likely to improve outcomes. This is why we are launching two new #KinshipCare projects.

@FoundationsWW We’re delighted to be a partner in this, our experience shows that talking works. We must improve outcomes for children and families #kinshipcare
Just like Bake Off, mediation helps us confront and overcome challenges within ourselves. Both require focus, patience, and the ability to stay calm and centered, even when faced with difficult situations.
Practice makes perfect. Both activities involve learning new techniques.
If your cup is full of water, you knock it and it spills, water spills out. If your cup is full of bitterness or anger, guess what spills out when it’s knocked. Make a choice to fill your cup half full and not half empty. Fill it with resilience and positive thought. #cuphalffull
Remember to be aware that when you split, there are so many people who have opinions, advice and expectations. All of which influence your decisions. It takes time to work out what’s right for each of you, and how it’ll work in the future.
If you’re an accredited family mediator, don’t forget that the Voucher Scheme is transferring from the FMC to Opia from today. It’ll take a few days for your application to be approved, so register today.

There’s a change afoot ….. we’re thrilled to be one of the 17% already working in the #resolutiontogether way. We’ve called it Separate Together. Clients really like the idea, they like having a range of ways to get support. #ResConf23@family_rebecca
Interesting poll result - majority said solicitor negotiation would be predominant way to resolve disputes in 10 years. How about we use all of them (but save court for the absolutely necessary)?!!! @resfamilylaw#ResConf23@family_rebecca
Bring back the Green Form said Sir Andrew MacFarlane. Hear hear. I don’t think we mind what is brought in, but it MUST cover early advice, non court resolution options AND help with implementation and drafting. #ResConf23
