@wostry Nem megyek bele a vitaba, valahol ertem az allaspontodat, es igen, ha csak a legutolso jelenetet nezzuk, akkor szembemegy a korabbiakkal, de ettol fuggetlenul nem negalja azokat. Karakterfejlodesileg pedig tokeletes, ha az esemenyeket vesszuk, amik Rusttal tortentek.

WHITE BOY RICK (2018): '80s, Detroit, drugs. Nothing we haven't seen before but McConaughey carries the whole movie right until the end as he plays the white-trash gun dealer father from Detroit, and delivers a more than fine, underrated performance. The rest is forgettable.

PRIVATE LIFE (2018): Fertility is a hard subject to talk about but Tamara Jenkins does it successfully. Giamatti nails every drama role for sure and Kayli Carter is a nice surprise. A sad but strong film. This year Netflix surely accomplished some improvement with its movies.

#5 BATMAN RETURNS: I think of it as much more of a Christmas movie than Die hard, actually. It has the holiday spirit and always reminds me of how much I used to adore Christmas as a little kid filled with excitement. No secret, Michael Keaton is my favourite Batman of all time.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (2017): The plot barely exists but Gunn unite the characters beautifully, and the scenes are so well connected there are no loose ends, every emotion find its way through. Even for the second time is really heartwarming and funny.

WHITNEY (2018) Kevin Macdonald chose a slightly different approach than documentaries usually go and that helped him to cover almost every aspect of the Black Princess' life. Whitney is colorful, tragical, emotional, autobiographical as good as it gets. The falling is devastating

UNDER THE SILVER LAKE (2018): A strange neo-noir that shows us around the gorgeous and seductive LA tracing through a chaotic mystery. Pop culture-symbolism, suspense and naked women everywhere. Unfortunately, it doesn't add up in the end and fades away into nothing.
