Had to be later than that because my grandmother was only born in 1905 and so would have been 17 - notold enough for the job she had at the time - when was the Hendersons Department Store Fire? When was C&A's built?

C&A's Fire Escape next to Coopers Building is on the site of the footpath that ran between the Churchyard and Coopers Buildings!

Not all of the graves were removed though. My Grandmother worked in Coopers Building (WHSMITH) at the time of the BINNS Fire and remembers graves being removed to allow Cheap and Awful's (C&A's) store to be built.

The Lady Chapel was the only part complete when it came time for Captain Noel Godfrey Chavasse's Funeral but it was not big enough and so the service was moved to the Church of St Nicholas at the Pier Head.
This service was repeated in its entirety 100 years later to the day.

Good to see The North Wales Medical Centre being used as she was built for - a rehabilitation centre and caring for those who need that extra helping hand

#Blind #veteran Bill and wife Jean are also currently isolating at our Llandudno centre so that they can spend #Christmas & New Year with other veterans who would otherwise spend it alone.

Bill and Jean’s closest family live 200 miles away so they'd usually spend it as two.
