Just to say to anyone trying to sort this out, the answer was to call the German service centre and select German language rather than English. That seemed to send me to someone with access to the right system (though I can speak German so might be harder for others)…
@lufthansa Called your service center to add Rail&Fly to my LHR-FRA booking. Was told it has to be an international flight. I said this is UK to Germany - so it's international. They then said - no, international means outside of Europe?! Surely this is not correct?
BTW - the reason I am adding this after booking is because no rail&fly option appeared in the 'additional services' section of the booking page. To test the theory of what counts as international, I just tried to book a flight from the USA. Same problem - no Rail&Fly option.
@RadioMunkeh@lufthansa Did you ever get anywhere with this by any chance? I've been told no by three different agents now (even though in theory they thought it possible, but were getting an error when trying). The final agent told me the reason was that LHR-FRA wasn't an international flight?!
@ATGTICKETS my husband booked tickets with you as a surprise for me today - he then realised he booked them for one day later than he meant to (he was looking at the wrong year!) - anything he can do?
If you have medieval studies students who'd benefit from a summer school, we're running an amazing one in 2025. The price is pretty spectacular as it is inclusive of meals and accommodation as well as tuition and excursions. Early bird discounts, too!
'This volume of Cambridge Elements deserves nothing but praise. Keeping with the aim of the series, it offers a concise and insightful guide to the relationship between authors and popes from the fourth to the eleventh century.' - Paolo Sachet, Jahrbuch für Kommunikationsgeschichte 📚
@maregan_le_fay I am a particular fan of this, as well as bringing all the same old ID again, when you are just doing a renewal (that was me at the Bod last week)…
