They told me to get lost btw. I would highly recommend you DO NOT purchase any recently made @Honda vehicles. Their AC systems will fail, and you will be stuck with a multi-thousand dollar repair when they want to pull out the dashboard to fix it.

@bigdeadhead454 @Honda Maybe instead of flaming me, we should be holding companies accountable for putting out lower quality products than expected. My Honda Accord from the aughts made 20 years without needing this work done before I sold it, and my Toyota from the 80s had it figured out before that.

Shoutout @Honda for the $3,000 AC repair bill on a known failure point on my <10 year old car. They extended the warranty on the car's AC condenser to 10 years for the same exact failure, but the Evap core is like a 15 hour job and they won't want to take the hit.

@bigdeadhead454 @Honda Car is less than 10 years old. The Evap core is a non-moving part, and it failed in the same way as the condenser, which got a TSB to extend its warranty to 10 years. I've literally never experienced an Evap core failure before and all my previous cars were older than this one.

@jaeloop @Honda Mine is a Honda Clarity, but also well documented. This seems to be affecting all Honda cars using the newer R1234yf refrigerant to at least some degree. Very disappointing craftsmanship from Honda.
