Denmark's newest bridge, also the country's third largest, was celebrated on Saturday with a public festival attended by Crown Prince Christian. The opening, which HM Queen Margrethe has agreed to be named after her, was marked with a symbolic bridge change.

A truly original and detailed tribute! 👑🧱 During their visit to Grenaa town hall in the municipality of Norddjurs, Their Majesties the King and Queen were welcomed with a spectacular surprise: an exact replica of the Royal Yacht Dannebrog meticulously built using thousands of LEGO bricks. The model perfectly captures every single corner of the ship and features a super cute addition: miniature figures representing King Frederik and Queen Mary waving from the deck. A wonderful nod to Danish tradition that brought a huge smile to the royal couple! 😍🇩🇰

An event filled with symbolism, tradition, and nature! 👑🌱 During their wonderful tour this Tuesday, King Frederik and Queen Mary planted the "King's Oak" in the forest—a winter oak specimen that can live for up to 500 years, leaving a historic legacy in the area. As a beautiful and meaningful keepsake for their distinguished visit, the royal couple also received their very own winter oak to plant and watch grow in the comfort of their home. Such a wonderful moment showcasing once again our King and Queen's incredible warmth, spontaneity, and dedication to local traditions! 😍🇩🇰

🥹👑💙 I absolutely love seeing Mary with children.
There’s just something so special about it. Whenever there are kids nearby, she always seems to make time to greet them, smile at them, give them high-fives and make them feel included 🤍✨
And the best part is how genuinely happy she looks around them. It never feels forced or formal; it feels natural, warm and full of kindness 😭
Mary has this wonderful ability to make every child feel seen and important, and honestly, it’s one of the things I admire most about her.
Seeing her surrounded by little ones always melts my heart 🫶🏼👑
