On #InternationalWomensDay we celebrate inspiring women past and present. Pupils learn about figures such as Mary Anning and Oldhamβs own Annie Kenney, exploring courage, equality and determination through our history curriculum.

Weβve had a wonderful #WorldBookDay at Medlock Valley! EYFS & KS1 snuggled up in PJs to share favourite books with parents, while KS2 impressed us with creative vocabulary costumes and a word parade. A brilliant celebration of reading and language! π
