On May 10, 2023, in Kerala, a young doctor was fatally assaulted inside a hospital by a patient brought in for care.
After nearly 3 years, the accused has now been sentenced to life imprisonment.
A tragic reminder that healthcare workers need stronger protection at workplaces.
