It's quiet for now. Durban's Drive-In, where thousands of Malawian nationals had been camping while awaiting repatriation is now empty, with litter scattered everywhere.
SIU acting head Leonard Lekgetho says they have uncovered a highly organised syndicate operating inside the Home Affairs Department allegedly selling visas, permits and South African citizenship. Lekgetho says officials were charging up to R40 000 for study visas.

JUST IN| Police have arrested the grandparents of missing 2-year-old #OmphileSethole on charges of child neglect. The grandparents, aged 52 and 55, were arrested on Friday and are expected to appear in the Mahwelereng magistrate's court on Monday.
Omphile is still missing.
JUST IN | National police commissioner Gen Fannie Masemola has been placed on precautionary suspension. Lt-Gen Puleng Dimpane has been appointed as acting national commissioner.
Lt-Gen Dimpane is the divisional commissioner for financial management services. President Ramaphosa says Dimpane has extensive experience in policing, strategic management, financial management and governance. "Lt-Gen Dimpane has a reputation for professionalism and integrity."
