Controller players (80% of the player base) give up MOVEMENT for AIM ASSIST. Legends that have 1 button FREE MOVEMENT (Axle) are going to thrive especially if their Ult and Passive are also good.

One button free movement legends historically have crap abilities besides their speed to keep them balanced (OCTANE). If Axle is going to have 100mph speed pads she can't also have a 1 button win Ult and insane movement passive. Her kit is WAY too strong.

I’m not a professional or close to one but catering to casuals in most competitive shooters has majority of the time ruined the vibe of the game for me. Really hope to see a ton of legend nerfs at the half split and return to a game that requires guns skill over ability slop

Axle and seer are the definition of skill less legend abuse. One tac from either of them almost guarantees a knock. Doesn’t quite feel right in a game like apex. Skill expression is slowly going out the window as it turns into a “who picks the most diabolical legends” game.

Just played the new Apex Legends Season 30 update for 8 hours. Here are my initial thoughts.

1⃣BLOODHOUND
- ult is horrible in 3v3... very easy
to see people that are "invisible"
- works better in very chaotic fights when there is tons of visual clutter but otherwise it's pretty bad
2⃣LEGEND META
- Please nerf Axle for the love of god or implement ranked Legend Bans.
- meta is still APE APE APE APE APE
- 5 squads alive round 1
- other than axle ran into tons of maggie, alter, seer... rarely saw bloodhounds
3⃣NEW CORRUPTED ATTACHMENTS
- extended mag is nuts (I had an auto prowler w 40 bullets 💀)
4⃣WORLDS EDGE POI UPDATE + DARK MODE
- I like the POI changes and the dark map is very pretty
5⃣LOOT POOL NERF
- Very noticeable: Often had white or blue attachments most the game.
- Anything to make TTK higher is good in my opinion at this point.
6⃣GUN META
- SMG meta lives on... Triple Axel sliding at you at 100mph with r99, re45, p20's.
- Would love to see shotguns back in the game some how... being able to use cover and peak fight is so much more interesting to watch IMO.
