@Ma_ra_chi Imagine how shocked I was to discover making money is not just by paying for premium alone and it involved other criteria which I didn’t know before until my first payment
I visited my good friend and his family who lived in another city. The wife just gave birth to their second child and given that I hadn't visited them before despited several invites, I thought this was a good time to do so.
A day after my arrival, my guy took me to hang-out. While at it, we caught up with old times and shared several life experiences. We soon talked about family and he started telling me of the issues he was having with his wife because of his secretary. He continued narrating the incidences of the quarrels while we drove home and I listened. We eventually got back home. His house had a rear kitchen exit. Because he didn’t want to disturb anyone’s sleep as he thought they were all asleep given that the time was about 11:45pm, he suggested that we access the house using the rear of the house. So we decided to stay at the rear balcony to finish our jist before entering the house. When he was done with the complaint, I told him bluntly to fire the secretary if he wanted peace in his home because I suspected he had something with the lady but I asked him anyways. "Do you have anything to do with this lady" and he responded " that was in the past". Before I could utter my next word, a heard a bang! The kitchen door flung open and there was the wife. We stood shocked. Apparently she had been eavedropping all the while. Wahala !!!
All she said is "this ends today, I am leaving”
Ah!! Leave to where? I started begging her. She said "you heard him, that lady is not the only one, there are more, I am packing my things tonight" Na so I beg tire.
My guy didn't help matters, he encouraged her to leave if she so desired. But I couldn’t bear the thought of being at the centre of the end of someone's marriage. I begged and begged but she insisted so I asked her to at least stay till morning because it was very late and she agreed.
When I got to my room, I prayed like never before. I ask God, “did you bring me all the way to witness the end of this marriage?” I was close to tears but I declared that it will never be said that my presence announced the disolution of that marriage.
By the next morning, I observed that her countenance had changed. We spoke and I apologised for event of the previous night and all she said was "warn your friend o, he should better stop all this nonsense" and I promised her I will. I was so excited she wasn't leaving anymore. God has done it!!
They thought my excitement was only about the peace that had returned to the home, they didn't know I was rejoicing because God also did not allow a strange stigma to be stuck to me.
A few days later I left them in joy and peace for my base.
Today their marriage still stands and they have not looked back.
God is great.
