DEADLY SHOOTING ROCKS DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS

A major shooting is unfolding in downtown Minneapolis tonight.

Authorities responded to an apartment building near 15 E. Grant Street, where multiple people were shot, including two Minneapolis police officers.

Hennepin County Medical Center says it received seven gunshot victims. At least one person has died.

The area around Loring Park and the Minneapolis Convention Center remains flooded with law enforcement as the investigation continues.

The FBI is assisting local authorities.

Police have not yet released a confirmed motive, identified the shooter, or explained what led to the gunfire.
