Stephen A. Smith: I find it highly offensive they would label me in this way, give me a thumbs down award specifically for disparaging Black women. I want everybody out there to know, there's no such thing. That did not happen.
How did you feel about the man vs bear in the woods debate? The question being “who would you feel safer with, if trapped in the woods? A man or a bear?”
Pretty simple. The right is constantly inventing totally crazy scenarios of gotcha moments that won’t happen to create a sense of hysteria.
Here are the facts:
— A trans woman has never played in the WNBA. In 30 years.
— Trans women are barred from competing in women’s sports in the NCAA and the Olympics.
— 29 states have banned trans girls participation in women’s sports K-12.
— The Supreme Court ruled states can exclude trans girls from participating in women’s sports.
Y’all won. Y’all got it. So why is the right still crying and whining about an argument that is backed by law and policy at virtually every level?
Wait, I have an answer. They want to erase trans existence period and no amount of exclusion, degradation, or denigration will ever be good enough for them.
SO they create these dumb, illogical, stupid-ass scenarios because there actually isn’t enough there for them to make a salient point. It’s fear-mongering bullshit that is designed to create a hostile environment for trans people. It’s weak.
So many flaws, but just one, should be enough. Barry and Emmitt played in the same era, you can see it in real time the difference between the two. Emmitt smith was 5’9 216. Barry, 5’8 200. Easy comp. Jordan 84-03 6’6 216.(same as Emmitt smith.) Bron, 03-, 6’9 250. (Junior seau)
LeBron is the Emmitt Smith of the NBA - Great player, all-time longevity stats. On paper, he should be the greatest running back of all time. On paper.
But in reality, if you watched him and Barry Sanders, no one in their right mind is picking Emmitt over Barry. The way Barry moved, we have yet to see anyone else move like him 30 years later just like we have yet to see anyone move like Jordan.
Curry rode KD’s coat tail to 2 of the finals wins .LeBron and Steph are 1-1 as Steph as the best player and even in 2015 when he beat bron Kevin love or kyrie Irving didnt even play in that finals and it still took golden state 6 games to beat the cavs .Steph doesn’t get to bask Ina glory of beating bron as a robin I wish you Steph fans stop bringing that up .thats KD’s accomplishment not Steph ‼️and LeBron has outplayed Steph in every finals they met in that’s not a debate either .also LeBron has had better team mates by name than mj not all those dudes where in their prime when bron got them .wade was probably top tier for the first season or 2 LeBron had him ,bosh was great ,kyrie was great ,AD was great and now lukas great .anybody else outside of that was washed or a roll player when bron played with them.MJ literally had the best robin in basketball and best defender in basketball not named hakeem.he had the best rebounder in basketball and the best shooters coming off the bench in basketball that won him 2 of those rings on top of having the best coach in basketball .mike also beat lesser teams and lesser competition than bron it’s not even close .and you can’t bring up bron creating super teams to try to Diminish his legacy then hype up Steph like he didn’t go beg KD to be a warrior to create the greatest team of all time .bron made teams super teams ,Steph already had a homegrown superteam that won 73 games and still had to go beg KD because they knew with out him they wasn’t beating bron again .draymond has already said this on his pod this isn’t an assumption
Imagine leading the league in scoring & being 3rd in assists all while leading your team to the 3rd seed (above expectations) while the team has been struggling health wise and you STILL won't even make the All-NBA first team because talking heads said you were fat
@KingJames all these dummies are mad at you for giving your kid a chance to chase his dreams I would do the same thing too!!!!! It’s ok to be a proud dad…..
Ron Harper on whether he envisioned his sons following his footsteps and playing in the NBA:
“I’m not LeBron James I’m not going to tell my kids what they have do.”
Ron Harper Jr. and Dylan Harper: “Yoo.” 😭
