On the very first day of the Trump Administration, President Trump set out to secure the southern border and address the immigration crisis set forward by Biden's failed policies.
Now the southern border has been LOCKED DOWN for a whole year straight. 🇺🇸
VP @JDVance recalls the moment President Trump asked Congress to stand if they believed their first duty was to serve American citizens, not illegal immigrants, and EVERY SINGLE Democrat stayed seated.
.@VP: "If you are committing fraud against the American people, you ought to go to prison... Just last week, we actually prosecuted a fraudster who was stealing people's check information, stealing their identity, and writing bad checks... That person's going to prison."
Honoring our retiring Republican House members who have faithfully served the people of Minnesota for years. You have made a lasting impact on our caucus and our state.
Gun-control bill pushed by Walz goes down in flames despite Dems’ sit-in protest
Democratic lawmakers held a sit-in to demand that House Speaker Lisa Demuth bring the bill for a vote, but the legislation died at midnight with the end of the legislative session.
Many citizens dislike the new Minnesota flag, which looks strikingly like the Somali flag. Now, legislators are pushing to punish cities that do not fly the flag. https://t.co/KWihdqqBWL
Republican lawmakers introduce bill requiring nonprofits to disclose number of noncitizens they assist
Authored by Rep. Brad Finstad and Rep. Michelle Fischbach, the Immigrant Resettlement & Welfare Abuse Prevention Act would require nonprofits to disclose how many noncitizens they assist with resettlement and accessing federally-funded programs.
In Minnesota, there are six resettlement organizations that have partnerships with the U.S. State Department.
For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out.
Here's how it went:
1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14.
2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0.
3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5.
It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops.
Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID.
I know you guys knew that already... lol
'SOMETHING IS WRONG': Retired millionaire Rob Undersander outlines a major oversight in how Minnesota hands out its SNAP benefits, pointing out that the system is based on income only, not assets.
Despite his significant savings and property, Undersander realized that he could qualify for the program because his retirement income was low.
"One might call the current eligibility rules fraud by design. And given the current climate of fraud and abuse of taxpayer-funded benefits in Minnesota, I'm hoping that there will be a new bipartisan effort to reduce and eliminate both."
Barack Obama promised Obamacare would save the average family in America $2,500 a year!
Instead, healthcare costs increased by 92% since it was passed, while median family income increased by about 13%.
This is considered by most Democrats as Obama's greatest accomplishment!
16 years ago today, the Affordable Care Act became law.
Healthcare has become less affordable ever since.
All to enrich the wealthy elites in the insurance industry.
Obama ruined it, and republicans have been too weak to do anything about it.
1. This is a lie
2. Read the damn bill
3. The text beginning on page 12, line 22 makes abundantly clear that what you’re saying isn’t true
4. Why can’t Senate Democrats argue against this bill without lying?
