REBRANDING THEMSELVES, DON'T BE FOOLED !
The Act outlawed the Communist Party USA as a legal entity and made membership/support for it (or similar groups) carry serious legal risks during the Red Scare.
It didn't ban the word "socialism" or social democratic ideas, but it stigmatized anything linked to Soviet-style communism.
Result: After the 1950s, American leftists who wanted radical economic change largely avoided the "communist" label. Many rebranded under "socialist," "democratic socialist," or "progressive."

Congress buries things they don't want you to see.
The Farm Bill had provisions shielding pesticide manufacturers from accountability for the harm they cause Americans.
We stood with the MAHA movement in support of the Luna Amendment to strip pesticide protections from the Farm Bill.
