Shilla Duty Free is accelerating its efforts to attract global visitors to Korea by selecting world-renowned Hallyu star Park Hyungsik as its promotional model. Shilla Duty Free recently announced that it has chosen him as a model through a business agreement with his agency, RÊVE Entertainment, held at its Seoul branch. This decision comes as expectations in the duty-free industry rise with the temporary visa-free entry for Chinese group tourists starting in September.

Park Hyungsik has been receiving great love from domestic and international fans for his versatile acting across genres in dramas such as Buried Hearts, Doctor Slump and Our Blooming Youth and he boasts high recognition throughout Asia. His upcoming work Twelve and the recent release of a mini album in Japan, along with his active global activities, are expected to contribute to strengthening Shilla Duty Free's brand image.

To commemorate its collaboration with Park Hyungsik, Shilla Internet Duty Free Shop will host various events for 2 weeks starting 1st September, including a quiz promotion. Participants who watch the promotional video and answer the quiz correctly will be entered into a draw to win Shilla Duty Free shopping benefits and a Park Hyungsik model acrylic miniature. Through this, Shilla Duty Free aims to attract more global customers.
